Why a system

There is no room for error in potable water.

Working inside a drinking water reservoir is not general commercial diving. The water stays in service while we work. That responsibility shapes everything: how equipment is prepared, how teams enter the site, how work is conducted and how the asset is returned to service.

The Aqualift System is our documented answer. It governs planning, hygiene, safety, cleaning, inspection, repair and reporting on every job, and it has been reviewed and improved continuously since 1996.

Contamination Prevention

Protecting water quality comes before everything else. Equipment is dedicated to potable water service, disinfected before mobilisation and transported enclosed.

Accurate Identification

Every clean doubles as an inspection. Findings are photographed, rated and reported so water managers know exactly what condition their asset is in.

Purpose-built mobility

Built for potable water. Ready to travel.

Teams travel from Orange, NSW in a purpose-built dive truck equipped with surface supplied breathing systems, backup air, emergency retrieval equipment and field spares. This setup allows the team to work on reservoirs across Australia, from metropolitan networks to remote sites.

Divers work on surface supplied air with three independent air sources, continuous communication with the surface and a standby diver in place for every dive.

From first meeting to final report.

The same sequence on every job, whether it is one reservoir or a whole network programme.

  1. Understand

    Review drawings, site access and operational constraints with your team.

  2. Plan

    Prepare the safe work method statements, dive plan and permits the job requires.

  3. Mobilise

    Deploy dedicated potable water personnel and equipment.

  4. Protect

    Establish site hygiene and water quality controls before anything enters the asset.

  5. Clean

    Controlled sediment removal while the reservoir stays in service.

  6. Inspect

    Detailed internal and external inspection of the whole asset.

  7. Report

    Cleaning Report and Asset Condition Report with clear recommendations.

  8. Improve

    Rectification, upgrades and a preventative maintenance plan where needed.
