Engineered products

Products that solve water problems.

Designed, manufactured and installed by Aqualift: HDPE, FRP and stainless steel products that improve water quality, extend asset life and make tanks safer to work in. Most can be fitted by divers while the tank remains full.

HDPE / Stainless

Directional Inlet Nozzles

The problem
Inlet water short-circuits straight to the outlet, leaving stale zones and disturbing settled sediment.
The solution
Nozzles place inlet water into a pre-determined pattern, keeping the stored volume evenly mixed and preventing ageing and deterioration.
Installation
Diver-fitted with pipework isolated for the installation period; tank remains full.

HDPE / Stainless

Two-Way Nozzle with Ram Tube

The problem
Blending problems in tanks where adding new internal pipework is impractical.
The solution
A combined inlet/outlet nozzle that solves most tank blending problems, with no further energy or maintenance once fitted.
Application
Single-penetration tanks and retrofit situations.

Stainless steel

Ram Tube

The problem
Nozzle discharge alone may not entrain enough flow, and open discharge points pose a hazard to divers.
The solution
Attached to the discharge of directional and two-way nozzles, the Ram Tube increases entrained water flow while acting as a safety screen for divers.
Benefit
Better circulation and safer in-tank work in one fitting.
HDPE

Outlet Safety Screens

The problem
Floor-level outlets draw sediment straight into the reticulation system, and unscreened outlets endanger divers.
The solution
Screens with a riser base and a calibrated hole pattern stay self-cleaning without restricting outlet flow, enabling safe diver cleaning while the tank stays online.
Installation
Underwater concrete drilling, stainless anchors and potable-approved epoxy sealing.
FRP / Stainless

FRP Ladder Systems

The problem
Corroding steel ladders shed material into potable water and become unsafe to climb.
The solution
Corrosion-free FRP ladder systems for tanks and confined spaces, engineered for potable environments and long service life.

Titan Arm

The problem
Tank roofs rarely offer secure anchorage for ladder climbing, confined-space rescue or lowering personnel safely.
The solution
Retro-fits to existing platform and roof areas of most tanks; swivelling foot plates suit most surfaces, and the arm folds down and locks when not in use.
Application
Positioned for multi-function use: internal climb anchorage, rescue, and high-angle lowering to safe ground.
HDPE

HDPE Pipework & Adaptors

The problem
Legacy tanks present unusual flange patterns and corroded pipework that off-the-shelf parts won't match.
The solution
HDPE pipework and adaptor plates made on site to suit whatever flange pattern the installation reveals.
NDT

Ultrasonic Thickness Testing

The problem
Corrosion hides its progress. Managers cannot plan rectification without knowing how much metal remains in floors, walls and pipework.
The solution
Diver-deployed ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTM) provides accurate remaining-thickness readings, giving a clear basis for planning rectification works.

Custom Fabrication

The problem
Every asset has one component nobody makes.
The solution
Design, manufacture and installation of one-off HDPE, FRP and stainless components, by the team that will also be the one installing them underwater.
